What does a KAP journey look like at Mind Medicine?

Your KAP process includes three phases:

1. Preparation

We meet with you to understand your goals, history, and set intentions for the journey.

2. Medicine Sessions

Ketamine is administered via intramuscular injection or lozenge in a calm, supportive setting with a trained guide present.

3. Integration

After each session, we help you reflect on your experience, process insights, and explore how they apply to your life.

What methods do you use to administer ketamine?

We offer:

Intramuscular (IM) injections

● Lozenge (oral) sessions

Your provider will help determine which method best suits your needs and goals.

Can I work with my own therapist?

Yes! You’re welcome to do preparation and integration sessions with your own KAP-trained therapist, and we’ll collaborate closely to ensure continuity and support throughout your journey.

Is ketamine safe?

Ketamine has a long history of safe use in both medical and therapeutic settings. All clients are carefully screened to ensure safety, and sessions are facilitated by trained professionals in a supportive environment.

How much does it cost?

Our pricing is competitive with other KAP providers, and we offer flexible packages that include preparation, medicine, and integration sessions. We don’t bill insurance directly, but we can provide superbills for potential reimbursement.

Can I drive after a session?

No. You’ll need to arrange for a trusted person to pick you up or use a ride service. Most people feel grounded after a few hours, but we recommend allowing time for rest and reflection after your session.

What does a ketamine experience feel like?

Experiences vary — from a subtle shift in awareness to more expansive, dreamlike states. You remain conscious but may feel detached from ordinary patterns of thinking. Many clients describe it as spacious, introspective, or deeply calming. Your safety and comfort are always our top priorities.
